About this item

My grandmother’s treadle sewing machine, in its original wooden table, with the gold decoration still clear.

It turns and stitches, but it needs oiling and a new belt to run smoothly. The table top has marks and the drawer is a bit stiff.

Very heavy, so pickup only. Ground floor, and I can help carry it to a car.

Reviews of Helena as a seller

92% good in 25 deals, with 24 different people. Good 23, okay 1, bad 1.

  • GoodRita bought “Brass table lamp”, 2 weeks ago

Lovely person, and the lamp was exactly as in the photos.

  • BadNuno bought “Wooden trunk”, 1 month ago

Nobody was there at the time we agreed and we had to arrange another day.

Reply from Helena: I am sorry. My train was late and I wrote to you through Sofala, but too late. It will not happen again.

  • GoodJoana bought “Embroidered tablecloth”, 2 months ago

Even nicer than in the photos.

Only people who completed a deal can rate each other: the buyer gives the seller a code from Sofala at pickup, or confirms that a shipped item arrived. Both ratings appear at the same time.
